[29] Photo 6 [Academy Awards]: Well, that's lovely. That's lovely. That's just a lovely, beautiful, proud address. That was the night I won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for my performance in Les Miserables.

[30] When I look at this, the thing I'm most struck by is how much love the people in my immediate circle surrounded me with in that moment. I'm just remembering the love.

[31] If I'm really honest, it was a complicated time for a lot of different reasons that I don't want to go into. But I remember that moment feeling super pure, super beautiful. and I just made sure to, like, earmark that moment. I'm just like, "When you look back, this is what matters. This is the part to remember."

[32] Photo 7 [Interstellar]: This is Dr. Amelia Brand in Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. I was actually just talking about this the other day because the costume was very heavy. and I asked to try it on I got asked to, like, I'd like to test it in water before I have to.

[33] There's a sprint sequence in it, and so I got taken to a pool, and I ran about 20 yards, and I said, "That's enough. I know everything I need to know."

[34] And I went straight out and bought a weighted vest, and I spent the next, I think, 8 weeks just running up and down trails in LA, just trying to build up my stamina and my strength to be able to bear the weight of that.

[35] There's a physical component to filmmaking that I think people often misunderstand. There's a grit that you need, and granted, there's, like, also craft service, and people give you water and ask if you're okay all the time, so it's a balance.

[37] And that's all. I just wanted to say it was a pleasure to get to run across Iceland⁽⁵⁾ in this spacesuit in, uh, mid-thigh-height water again and again and again and again, as many times as Chris [Nolan] needed.

[38] What's confusing about the ending? Love. That's the ending. Love. I don't know. I mean, the ending... the whole film is a feeling, and the idea that, um, physics is poetic and emotional as well.

[40] Pierpaolo [Piccioli] invited me to this show, and I was able to sit next to my dear, dear friend, Giancarlo Giammetti, at the event. This was the beginning of the pink moment.

[41] And I went to my fitting, and there were a few other looks, but as soon as I put this one on, I knew it was perfect. I love this moment of heels, I love a very high platform heel. It's a happy place for me. I did not fully think about the cobblestones.

[42] Photo 9 [Met Gala]: This is one of my favorite dresses of all time. I know you're not supposed to have favorites, it's like children, but this one was really, really special. It was a magnificent garment. I wish you could see the insides of it, the way it was constructed was just incredible.
